The wedding photo app for guests that needs no app
PICVIN is a wedding photo app for guests that works from the phone's browser: guests scan the QR code on their table and upload their photos and videos to one private gallery. No download, no account, no email. It is the digital disposable camera for your wedding, without the film, the developing or the wait.

The disposable camera, done digitally
Disposable cameras on the tables are a lovely idea with a predictable ending: a handful come back half used, the developing costs more than the cameras did, and the blurry shots of the ceiling outnumber the good ones. The photos your guests actually keep are already on their phones.
PICVIN keeps the idea and drops the film. You print one QR code per table, guests scan it with their phone camera, and the event page opens in the browser. They can take a photo there and then or pick the ones they have already taken. Every upload lands in the same gallery, in the order the photos were taken, so the morning after you have the whole day in one place.
What guests do: scan, pick, upload
Nothing to install and nothing to sign up for. The same three steps on iPhone or Android.
- Scan the QR code with the phone camera, or tap the link you sent on WhatsApp.
- Pick the photos and videos from the phone, or take a new one on the spot.
- Upload. The photos appear in the gallery and guests can browse what everyone else has shared.
- Optionally leave a first name, so you know who took what.
A QR code for wedding photos, ready to print
When you create your event you get a QR code and a link straight away. Print it on table cards, the order of service or a sign by the bar. It is the same code everywhere, so one gallery collects the ceremony, the drinks reception and the dance floor.
If you want to keep things tidy, create albums inside the event: one for the ceremony, one for the reception, one for the hen do the weekend before. Guests choose where their photos go, and you can move anything afterwards.
Private, and in your hands
Only people with the QR code or the link can see the gallery. It is never listed on Google, and you can delete any photo from your dashboard. Anyone who appears in a photo and would rather not can send a removal request from the gallery itself, and it comes to you.
Photos and videos are hosted on Cloudflare under EU jurisdiction, and PICVIN processes them for you under the GDPR. You decide who gets the link, and you decide when the gallery goes.
What it costs
You pay once per event, not per guest and not per month. The free trial starts when the first photo is uploaded, runs for 3 days and holds up to 20 photos, with no card needed, so you can test it at the rehearsal dinner or with your family first.
Standard costs US$10.99 and keeps the gallery online for 1 year. Premium, at US$21.99, adds videos and much more storage. Permanent, at US$54.99, never expires. Whichever you choose, you can download everything as one ZIP file whenever you like, sorted by the moment each photo was taken.
Frequently asked questions
Do my wedding guests need to download an app?
No. Guests scan the QR code with their phone camera and the upload page opens in the browser. There is nothing to install and no account to create, on iPhone or Android.
Is this a digital disposable camera?
Yes, in the sense that matters: guests take or choose photos on their phone and they all end up in one shared gallery. Nothing needs developing, nothing gets lost in a drawer, and you see the photos the same day rather than weeks later.
How do I make a QR code for wedding photos?
Create your event in PICVIN and the QR code is generated for you, ready to download and print. You do not need a separate QR generator, and the code never expires while your event is active.
Can guests upload videos as well as photos?
Yes, on the Premium and Permanent plans. Guests upload short videos the same way they upload photos, and videos appear in the gallery alongside them.
How long are the photos kept?
Standard and Premium keep the gallery online for 1 year, and Permanent never expires. The free trial lasts 3 days from the first upload. We email you before anything expires so you can download the ZIP or keep the gallery going.
Is there a limit on the number of guests?
No. No plan limits guests. Paid plans do not limit the number of photos either, only the total storage, and the free trial allows up to 20 photos.
Who can see our wedding photos?
Only people with your QR code or link. The gallery is not indexed by search engines, you can delete any photo from your dashboard, and guests can ask for a photo of themselves to be removed from the gallery itself.

All guidesDisposable cameras at your wedding: what they really cost, and the digital alternative
Ten to twenty disposable cameras at a wedding cost roughly £250 to £600 by the time they are bought, developed and scanned, and a good share of the 27 frames on each will be dark, blurred or of the ceiling. The digital alternative, a QR code that sends guests' phone photos into one shared gallery, costs a single payment per event and loses nothing to the lab. This guide works through the real numbers so you can decide with your eyes open, and explains how to get the disposable-camera feeling without the film.

How to collect wedding photos from guests, before, during and after the day
The way to collect wedding photos from guests is to give them one place to put them and ask while they are still in the room. In practice that means a QR code on every table that opens a shared gallery in the browser, a line in the speeches, and one follow-up message the next morning with the same link. Everything else, hashtags, WhatsApp groups, emailing round, loses most of the photos. Here is how to set it up and what to say.

How to make a QR code for wedding photos
A QR code for wedding photos is just a link printed as a pattern, so the real question is where the link goes. The three options are a shared album in Google Photos or iCloud, a cloud folder in Drive or Dropbox, or a guest gallery built for events such as PICVIN, which gives you the QR code ready-made and asks guests for no app or account. This guide covers all three, then how to print and place the code.

The best wedding photo sharing apps in 2026, compared
ComparisonThe best wedding photo sharing app is the one your guests will actually use, which in practice means no install and no account, a price you pay once, and a gallery you can download. This comparison covers eight tools, GuestPix, GuestCam, Kululu, WedShoots, Wedibox, POV, PhotoCircle and PICVIN, using facts from their public pricing or product pages on 8 November 2026; where a page did not say, we say so rather than guess, and every price is a snapshot that will change. PICVIN is ours, so read that entry with that in mind.
