Comparison
The best wedding photo sharing apps in 2026, compared
The best wedding photo sharing app is the one your guests will actually use, which in practice means no install and no account, a price you pay once, and a gallery you can download. This comparison covers eight tools, GuestPix, GuestCam, Kululu, WedShoots, Wedibox, POV, PhotoCircle and PICVIN, using facts from their public pricing or product pages on 8 November 2026; where a page did not say, we say so rather than guess, and every price is a snapshot that will change. PICVIN is ours, so read that entry with that in mind.

GuestPix
Guests scan a QR code or tap a private link in the browser; no app, sign-up or password. The wedding pricing page lists Classic (one gallery, unlimited photos and videos, 3-month upload window, 12 months hosting from the event date), Signature (12-month upload window) and Signature Bundle (three galleries, 24 months). The comparison table starts at US$49, with a currency switcher for GBP and EUR. The free option gives 50 photos and a 30-day upload window. Features include a live slideshow, digital invitations and RSVPs, and a ZIP download. One-time payment.
GuestCam
US-based; guests need no app or account. Two one-time plans: Standard at $49 (listed at $55) with unlimited guests, photos and videos, a 6-month upload window and 12 months of storage; Premium at $97 (listed at $110) with a 12-month upload window, 14 months of storage and up to six galleries. Both include a live slideshow, an audio guestbook and a one-click ZIP. Add-ons: a guestbook phone number for $30 (US and Canada only) and MagicFind selfie search for $45 per event.
Kululu
Guests need no download. The pricing page names Free, Plus and Pro and a 50% off banner, but did not print prices or limits in the text we could read: Free is described as suited to 10–20 guests, Plus to up to 100 guests and no more than 500 photos, Pro to 150+ guests with moderation tools. Third-party comparisons in 2026 put Plus around $39 and Pro around $99; we could not confirm those on Kululu's page. A live photo wall is included in all plans, guests can upload photos and videos, and the page mentions sharing by link but not a download.
WedShoots and PhotoCircle
WedShoots is a free wedding album app from Bodas.net (The Knot Worldwide group, which also runs Hitched in the UK). Guests install the iOS or Android app and join with a code. The page lists unlimited photo uploads, filters, WhatsApp sharing, comments and likes, a projector mode and high-resolution download of all photos. It does not mention video or a QR code, nor how long albums are kept.
PhotoCircle is a private group photo app for families, schools, non-profits and businesses rather than a wedding product. Members join a Circle by link, QR code or in-app invitation, on iOS, Android or the web. The FAQ says personal use is free and ad-supported, with premium plans for organisations; the plans page we could read did not list prices. Photos, videos and documents can be uploaded; storage limits and downloads are not stated.
Wedibox
Guests need no app. The pricing page shows USD by default, one-time payment: Free (50 photos, QR code and share link, scavenger hunt challenges), Wedding at $49 (unlimited uploads, 6-month upload window, 1 year of storage, audio guestbook, live slideshow, wedding website, albums, ZIP download), All-In-One at $79 (1-year upload window, 2 years of storage, RSVPs with meals, live seating chart, playlist and registry links) and Embed at $29 (a widget for your own website, 3-month window).
POV
A disposable-camera-style app. Guests join through an iOS App Clip from a QR code or by downloading the iOS or Android app; the pricing page is a calculator by guest count (10 to 251+), with events of up to 10 guests free. POV's own blog states paid options begin at $4.99 for up to 25 guests; third parties quote higher figures for larger events, so use the calculator. A business add-on adds branding and a live slideshow. Reviews describe a film-style experience in which guests cannot preview their shots; the page itself does not state this, and it does not mention video.
PICVIN
Ours, so weigh accordingly. Guests scan a QR code and upload from the browser; no app, no account, no email asked. One payment per event: Standard at US$10.99 for 1 year, Premium at US$21.99 with videos and much more storage, Permanent at US$54.99 with no expiry, VAT included. Uploads stay open for the whole plan. Free trial of 3 days and 20 photos, no card. Albums, photos sorted by capture time, deletion from the dashboard, a removal request anyone in a photo can send from the gallery, ZIP download, hosting on Cloudflare under EU jurisdiction. No live slideshow, no audio guestbook, no RSVP, no branding, no face recognition.
Which to choose
For the most features around the gallery, a live slideshow, audio guestbook, RSVPs, GuestCam and Wedibox pack the most into one price, and GuestPix is the one most UK couples will have seen advertised. For the film-camera feeling where guests cannot see their shots until later, POV is built for that, at the cost of an App Clip or an install. If free is the only criterion and your guests will install an app, WedShoots. PhotoCircle is a general group-sharing app, not a wedding tool.
For the plainest version, a QR code, a browser, one private gallery, uploads open for the whole plan, EU hosting and a one-off price including VAT, that is what PICVIN is for, and the free trial lets you check it before you print anything.

How to collect wedding photos from guests, before, during and after the day
The way to collect wedding photos from guests is to give them one place to put them and ask while they are still in the room. In practice that means a QR code on every table that opens a shared gallery in the browser, a line in the speeches, and one follow-up message the next morning with the same link. Everything else, hashtags, WhatsApp groups, emailing round, loses most of the photos. Here is how to set it up and what to say.
